Ice architecture, cold water hunting, and light that lasts most of the night.

The Peninsula in December gives you eighteen usable hours and a sun that never gets properly high — a long, slow golden hour that is genuinely the best light in wildlife photography.

Everything here is regulated: approach distances, landing numbers, biosecurity. Treat the rules as the craft rather than the obstacle. The frames you cannot take are part of the discipline.
